We δ-approximate strictly short (e.g. constant) maps between Riemannian manifolds f0 : Xm →YN for N ≫ m2/2 by C∞-smooth isometric immersions fδ : Xm →YNwith curvatures curv(fδ)< √3/δ, for δ →0.
